“ Used to go there often before the plannedemic. I imagine they like many restaurants run on tight margins, so they were one of the first to raise prices under bidenomics. We have gone back recently and the food was excellent and Elsa served us well. They have also reemplemented lunch specials including ribeye M-Th. Their pricing is about the same as other restaurants now. Thanks Elsa we'll be back. ”
“ Trust me, there's a reason that the low reviews on this place are full of typos by the people writing them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this place and everything right. It's a family run business and overall, my favorite place to eat in Huntsville when I'm in town, which is about once or twice a month. I've eaten at both places this family has owned and every meal that I have is totally worth the price I pay for it. The servers are mostly all related to the owners. The head waitress/hostess is the wife of the main cook and kitchen manager so they have complete oversight of the entire process from the time the customer walks in and is greeted to how the food is prepared and served. I've always enjoyed each meal they're prepared for me and I've had several dishes over the last 2 decades. Whether you're into fried seafood, chicken fried steak, grilled pork chops or a full plate of Mexican food, you won't be disappointed. Nothing here ever appears or tastes like it came from a freezer. Everything is hand made and seasoned for each order. If you're ever in the area and want a good, home cooked meal, definitely stop by and give these guys a shot. ”
“ We get the crab and crawfish every time we visit! It is absolutely AMAZING! We are regulars and really enjoy everything! ”
“ The best fried shrimp in town I highly recommend it. The ribeye is awesome! I ordered mine medium rare, medium rare it was! A cold shiner bock and shrimp, my favorite. ”
“ Literally the best crawfish in Huntsville/the best crawfish I’ve ever had a restaurant. They’re so fresh, always hot, and the price is good! Service is always great, and the beer is always cold! You’ll catch me here at least once a week, especially during crawfish season. Edit: Was just at Bandera’s, and it was amazing (as per usual) The hype over the chicken fried steak is 100% warranted! So good! Service was 10/10 (as always)! And I tried their margarita for the first time and it was SO FREAKING TASTY! Bandera’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in Huntsville. Don’t let the few bad reviews stop you from trying this place out! ”
“ Food was great, it does take a while for your food to come out but you can tell it's fresh ”
